Our standard
Troy Photos is designed and tested toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. Accessibility is an ongoing practice, not a one-time badge or automated overlay.
What the site supports
- Keyboard access, visible focus indicators, and a skip-to-content link.
- Semantic headings, landmarks, form labels, status announcements, and accessible navigation.
- Meaningful alternative text for published photographs without inventing locations or facts.
- Text and interface contrast designed to meet Level AA targets.
- Touch targets sized for mobile use, responsive layouts, and zoom without horizontal page overflow.
- A keyboard-operable lightbox and controls that do not depend only on hover.
- Reduced-motion behavior and a pause control for the moving homepage gallery.

Continuous review
New photographs, captions, forms, and interface changes are reviewed as the archive grows. Automated checks are paired with keyboard, reduced-motion, responsive-layout, and production-route testing because automated tools alone cannot establish legal compliance.
